Pursly is built and run by Prakash Pun. No team, no investors, no growth targets — which is why it works the way it does.
Why I built it
I wanted to know where my money went without turning it into a second job. Every app I tried either wanted a monthly fee to show me my own spending, or wanted my bank login, or buried the answer under a dashboard I had to maintain by hand.
So Pursly logs an expense in a sentence, reads receipts out of your inbox so you do not have to type them, and answers questions in plain English. It never asks for a bank login, because it does not need one.
Free while it finds its feet
During early access every feature is free — expenses, budgets, goals, Gmail receipt sync, PDF export, widgets, the AI assistant and shared spaces. No card, no trial clock. If paid plans arrive, the pricing page and the app will say so before anything changes.
Your data is yours to take or delete
Export your transactions as a PDF whenever you like, and delete the account outright whenever you like. No retention period, nobody trying to talk you out of it.
Small, and shipping
One person means fewer meetings and faster fixes, and it also means being honest about the trade-off: no 24/7 support rota, and features arrive one at a time. What that looks like in practice is public.
